Eridu is a provider of petabit-scale networking switches for high-performance datacenters. They will combine several trends in advanced packaging, silicon photonics, and chip design to reach a 1 petabit/s network switch. The technologies to be explored include wafer-scale integration, die-stacking and cold-plating, and co-packaged optics. Their customers will be hyperscalers who they are already in contact with via the founder, Drew Perkins.
